Apple's macOS Screen Recording permission is a security feature in macOS operating system that controls which apps are allowed to record the contents of your screen. GrabText needs a screenshot in order to extract selected text. When GrabText is run for the first time it will requests permission to record your screen:
Select an area around the text you want to copy to clipboard. In addition press and hold Shift key in order to select several areas at once:
